A bit late in the day.

Now that she is also no more in this world.

I'll have to write about both my grandparents in the past tense now...the only ones I have ever known...

Numbers that don't add up

As I see her lying there, facing what are surely the the last days of her life, I wonder what she is thinking.

Maybe she is thinking why she went through so much and had 8 children. Did she really need them all. For all the good it's doing her, one or two would have served her just as well as eight...in fact, better.

Up, up and away

Been wanting to do this for a long, long time.

I've taken the first step today, but not sure if or when I can keep it going.

And I won't know that till I try, so here goes nothing...
